Argyll House is a former inn built in 1803 now extensively refurbished to provide self catering accommodation in five properties, each sleeping beween two and four people. We are centrally situated in the small village of Salen, just ten to fifteen minutes away from the ferry at Craignure or Fishnish, and well placed for touring the island. Although the village is small there are a range of local amenities available including a Spar shop, Post Office, hotel with pub, petrol station and doctor's surgery. The capital of Mull, Tobermory, is just ten miles away and the west coast of the island with its lovely sandy beaches is also within easy reach. Offering excellent value this accommodation is perfectly located to explore Mull’s famous delights.

Rooms Description

Ben More sleeps four people in one twin and one double bedroom and occupies the top floor of the main house with great views of Salen Bay. Burnside and Pennyghael are studios each sleeping two people and located on the first floor of the main house. The Bothy and The Byre are each cosy cottages situated in a converted stable at the rear sleeping four and two people respectively. All properties are well equipped and contain fully fitted and equipped kitchens.

All bedding, linen and towels are provided. DOGS welcome in The Bothy and The Byre by prior arrangement, please enquire when booking. A cot and highchair is available, free of charge.
