The small and friendly village of Westmuir enjoys views to the distant villages of Forfar and Glamis in Strathmore. The village of Westmuir is connected to nearby Kirriemuir by a wheelchair friendly footpath and the village itself is served by shop/post office and an accessible bus service. The village is an hour's drive from Aberdeen, Carnoustie, Arbroath and Montrose in the east, Dundee to the south and Prth, Dunkeld, Crieff and Pitlochrry in the west.
