The estate enjoys stunning views of the surrounding countryside and nature lovers are sure to enjoy the wide variety of birds and wildlife that can be seen in the garden. Walkers and cyclists will enjoy the quiet roads, many off which lead the more intrepid off the beaten track. There are numerous lochs and rivers in within easy reach of the accommodation offering excellent fishing. The accommodation's close proximity to both Edinburgh and Newcastle make this the ideal location for a break in the beautiful Scottish Borders.

The Mill Cottage has recently undergone extensive building and refurbishment work to provide luxurious four star accommodation. The cottage has been awarded the Accessible Category 2 Award, meaning that the property is accessible to a wheelchair user travelling with assistance. The ground floor is of an open plan design and incorporates a fully fitted kitchen with dishwasher and all modern conveniences, a dining area with ample seating and a living area. Here guests will find a widescreen TV with digital Freeview and a DVD and video player for your entertainment. Upstairs is a fruther gallery living area, ideal for evening drinks. Patio doors lead out onto a south facing patio and courtyard, ideal for barbecues and relaxing in the summer sun.

Unfortunately the property is unsuitable for children under the age of eight years. There is ample off road parking.
