5 star self catering holiday cottage near Port Logan in Dumfries & Galloway. Luxury accommodation for up to 9 people in a rural location with picturesque views.

Five star holiday cottage situated on a working four hundred acre farm with large fishing ponds, wild boar park and ancient woodland. It's elevated position and rural location means you can enjoy amazing panoramic views of the sea and countryside. The cottage is half a mile from Port Logan, with its sandy beaches, botanic gardens, fresh water and sea fishing and coutryside walks.

This detatched holiday cottage is all on one level and offers luxury self catering accommodation for up to 9 guests. It is beautifully finished with a modern interior and tasteful decoration. The spacious living area has comfy sofas, a wood burning stove, a 42in plasma TV, Sky and DVD player. There is also a large conservatory where you can enjoy great views and sunsets. The dining kitchen has all the appliances you might need, a table to seat ten in comfort and a large low window designed to allow you to enjoy the views whilst dining. In the utility room is a washer and dryer. There is also a hall with space for coats and walking boots and lots of brochures and information to help you enjoy your holiday. Outside there is a large enclosed garden which is great for children. There is also a patio with garden furniture and a barbeque.

Rooms Description

There are four bedrooms: the master bedroom with a king size bed and ensuite shower room, a double room with ensuite shower room, a twin room and a bunk room with adult sized bunk beds. A folding bed can also be added to the bunk room. The main bathroom has a double spa bath with underwater lighting and cushion head rests at both ends.

Specialities

Why not bring your horse on holiday? We have stables and a paddock available on the farm for guests to use. The livery charge on a DIY basis is only £5 per night, inclusive of stabling and grazing. Other pets are welcome by prior arrangement. There is no smoking in the cottage. A complimentary welcome pack of champagne, chocolates and flowers is provided. In 2008, Dundrum Cottage became the first self catering property in Dumfries & Galloway to achieve Visit Scotland's highest grading of 5 Stars.
