A luxurious Georgian water front apartment sleeping up to eight people with glorious views of Eyemouth harbour from every room

The Herring Queen is a listed Georgian apartment located in a conservation area in the traditional Scottish fishing village of Eyemouth in the Scottish Borders. The apartment has been sympathetically upgraded and now perfectly combines period features with modern day amenities. Eyemouth is a picturesque fishing village with narrow alleys and wynds providing the backdrop for the wonderful promenade. The beach is bordered by cliffs on one side and the harbour on the other, perfectly sheltered from the North Sea wind.

The apartment features the spaciousness and high ceilings common to the Georgian era. The open plan kitchen gives out onto excellent views of the harbour and is very well equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave and a latte/espresso machine. The lounge area features a large window with seat and is equipped with a large plasma television with Sky package, DVD player and a wide selection of DVDs, books and games. The bathroom has a large spa bath and separate power shower with wet room walls.

Rooms Description

The master bedroom has a king size bed and a pull out single bed for children. Bedroom two has a king size bed. Both bedrooms have 180 degree harbour views.

Specialities

A cot, high chair, baby carrier and pushchair are available. Cool boxes and picnic boxes, deck chairs, sun loungers, windbreaks, beach gamees, buckets and spades are also available.
