As famous for it's wildlife as it is golf, the unspoilt beauty of the Scottish countryside and wildlife reserves, makes it an ideal place to find an abundance of birds, fish, plants and various other animals uncommon to other areas.

For those who like to fish we have the rivers North and South Esk on the doorstep, providing opportunities for fishing throughout the seasons. Arbroath lies just fifteen minutes from Montrose and a number of angling charter boats operate from the harbour there. Guests of Greenbank can be assured of a hearty breakfast at the start of the day aand we are able to provide evening meals by advance arrangement.
