Ravensdown is a friendly and stylish guest house, run by David (Scottish) and Yoke (she is Dutch) which provides excellent value high quality bed and breakfast accommodation in central Edinburgh. A spacious Edwardian house built in the early 1900's, Ravensdown has spectacular views of the city skyline, Edinburgh castle and Arthur's Seat. We are situated to the north of the ancient city within easy reach to the port of Leith, close to lovely pubs, restaurants and the Royal Yacht Britannia. We are also approximately a ten minute walk to the Royal Botanic Gardens and Stockbridge.

We offer six spacious ensuite rooms with a choice of continental, Scottish or vegetarian breakfast and our front bedrooms have fantastic views of Edinburgh. Ravensdown is non smoking throughout the building, however an ash tray is provided next to our front garden seating. Breakfast is served in relaxed and informal surroundings. Feel free to help yourself to our selection of buffet items including cereals, fruit juices, yoghurts, fruits, cheeses, etc. We also supply limitless bread and a toaster so you can make your own toast. We'll do our best to accommodate your special dietary requirements.

We can offer double, twin, triple and family rooms. Single occupancy is seasonally available.

Specialities

We are a family, motor and gay friendly bed and breakfast with wireless internet access and ample free parking. Dutch and English are spoken and we are pleased to offer special rates at certain times of the year. Golfing parties are also welcome.
