Distinctly different four star bed and breakfast accommodation in a converted nineteenth century church in a rural setting close to Elgin in Scotland

Parrandier bed and breakfast offers distinctly different guest accommodation in the old church of Urquhart, Scotland. The church sits on top of a small hillock and offers uninterrupted views of the surrounding beautiful countryside. The building dates back to the mid 1800's and is situated in a superb rural location just five miles from Elgin. There are two public lounges at Parrandier where guests are welcome to relax and enjoy a wee dram of whisky at the end of the day. The character of the building has been retained and the spacious lounge sits under the original, simply decorated church ceiling.

Parrandier B&B sits in nearly two acres of garden grounds and guests are welcome to sit by the church pond and enjoy the views across the surrounding countryside. There is a lovely little waterfall with a stream ending in waters by the ruins of what was once the church stable. Should you be planning a wedding then the church and grounds provide lovely backdrop for a religious or civil marriage. We are only too happy to help with arrangements and offer your choice of wedding dinner and accommodation for up to fourteen guests.

We offer double and family rooms with en-suite facilities in addition to a twin with private facilities. All rooms have tea and coffee facilities as well as a hairdryer.

Specialities

We offer a three course dinner served at 7 pm in the dining gallery of the spectacular main lounge. Bike hire is available and a packed lunch can be provided by prior arrangement.
