A three bedroom self catering holiday lodge on a gated estate at Rowardennan, beneath the peak of Ben Lomond, on the shores of Loch Lomond

Loch Lomond Lodge is a self catering three bedroom lodge situated close to the shores of Loch Lomond. The property is set at Rowardennan in the Scottish Highlands, and consists of the lodges themselves, a hotel and a youth hostel a mile away. The lodge is an ideal place for children, being set close to a gently sloping beach and surrounded by flat grassy areas, perfect for playing. Entry to the estate is via a remote controlled gate, ensuring that only visitors and owners have access to the site.

Ben Lomond, at the southern part of the Highlands in Scotland, is just under 1000 metres high and provides the dramatic backdrop to the site. There are two slips and a fixed jetty, providing easy launching for power boats and sailing craft. Temporary mooring is available at extra cost for the stay. The area is very peaceful with local traffic consisting mainly of walkers following the West Highland Way, one of Scotland's most famous long hikes from Bearsden, north Glasgow to Fort William.

Rooms Description

The lodge ha three bedrooms, sleeping up to a maximum of six people. Bedroom one has two single beds, bedroom two has a double bed and bedroom three has two sets of bunk beds.

Specialities

The Rowardennan Hotel is situated next to the lodge site, with bars and a restaurant it also has a beer garden with stunning views of the loch. Ideal if you don't want to cook in the lodge all the time. You can also book luxury cruises from here.
