Abbotsford Lodge is a beautiful late nineteenth century house offering stylish and modern bed and breakfast accommodation in the town of Callander, gateway to the highlands. The town is the ideal base for touring Scotland's first national park, Loch Lomond and the Trossachs. If you are visiting Scotland to bag a few munros then Ben Ledi, Ben A'an and Ben Gullipen lie within easy reach. Within five minutes drive of Callander are Loch Vennacher, Loch Achray and Loch Lubnaig. A little further distant, yet still nearby, are the steamer trips on Loch Katrine or the Lake o Menteith and the Inchmacholm Priory Ruins. If watersports are your thing, you will not be disappointed - water ski-ing, steamer trips and fishing can be found between these lochs.

We took over the property in 2005 and have embarked on a major refurbishment program in all public areas and bedrooms. The rooms have been sympathetically renovated and perfectly combine modern comforts with the building's period features. At the end of a day spent touring the attractions of the local area, relax in the residents lounge or conservatory and enjoy afternoon tea. Evening meals are available at Abbotsford Lodge by prior arrangement and are made using fresh local ingredients wherever possible. We specialise in catering for groups of between ten and thirty five people for occasions such as birthdays, christenings and high teas. Special dietary requirements can be catered for.
