The Roxburghe Hotel and Golf Course is one of the most relaxed and friendly country house hotels in Scotland, with twenty two luxury bedrooms. The hotel is situated on a working country estate and offers a wide selection of estate sports such as clay pigeon, pheasant, partridge and grouse shooting or some of the best salmon fishing in Scotland. The hotel also has its own trout fishery for fly fishing and tuition. Archery, falconry and mountain biking make the best use of the hotel's natural surroundings. Should you prefer a more sedate way of enjoying the outdoors then there is croquet on the front lawn and a range of woodland walks. Champagne balloon flights are also available.

In addition to offering luxurious hotel accommodation, The Roxburghe also offers beauty treatments as well as a vast range of sporting and leisure activities. The beauty salon consists of two treatment rooms and a steam room for individual use. The team are fully qualified in the art of pampering, specialising in facial and body care, nails, hands and feet. The hotel's challenging golf course was opened in 1997 and has deep challenging bunkers and large rolling greens. When Colin Montgomerie opened the course with Nick Faldo, he commented "I was impressed with the design and the quality of The Roxburghe. The Greens were immaculate and the course picturesque, a pleasure to play for professional and amateur alike".

Rooms Description

The hotel offers a range of luxurious single, double and twin rooms including four poster rooms and suites. Each room ensures every guest has fluffy white bathrobes and slippers, complimentary mineral water and a daily newspaper. There are 16 rooms situated in the Main House and 6 rooms in the Courtyard situated directly adjacent to the Main House.

Specialities

Our restaurant uses homegrown produce of game from the estate, salmon, wild mushrooms and freshly picked herbs to produce the ultimate culinary experience. The hotel has four meeting rooms, capable of catering from between two and forty delegates. Roxburghe Weddings are special, and the House Party style, taking the hotel as exclusive use, is what will make your wedding unique. Maximum guest numbers are 120 in the Main House or 150 in a marquee, set on the lawns within the grounds adjacent to the hotel.
