Situated just ten minutes from Portree, the island capital, guests can easily reach shops, banks and fuel.

Ardranach Cottage is perfectly situated for visiting various places within the Isle of Skye, such as Dunvegan Castle, The Museum of Island Life and Talisker Distillery where you can sample 'a wee dram'. The Isle of Skye is very popular amongst walkers and climbers due to the challenge of the Five Sisters of Kintail, and Skye and Lochalsh offer water sports such as diving, kayaking and sailing. Nearby there are numerous shops to browse full of local produce and crafts. If you fancy eating out you can enjoy a meal at one of the top Scottish restaurants, Three Chimneys Restaurant or a little closer there is Skeabost Country House Hotel with a dining room and conservatory restaurant.
