A friendly family run bed and breakfast set in the heart of the village of Arrochar on the shores of Loch Long. The guest house is conveniently located just 40 minutes from Glasgow and 5 minutes from Loch Lomond. This pretty 200 year old cottage is the perfect base for touring, walking, golf, fishing and many other outdoor pursuits. The accommodation is located in the centre of the village, just 100 yards from the shop and post office and only 200 yards from the two restaurants and local pub.

Each day begins with our substantial Scottish breakfast, known as 'The Cobbler' to many guests. There is a choice of breakfasts including vegetarian, Scottish smoked salmon and scrambled eggs or a lighter continental alternative. There are a wide range of attractions to be found in the local area including Loch Lomond shores, Luss and Helenburgh. Inverary is a 25 minute drive away and Oban can be reached in just one hour. The train station is only 3/4 mile from the cottage and the village is regularly serviced by coaches from Glasgow, Oban and Inverary.

Rowantreebank offers six tastefully decorated guest rooms, each with en-suite facilities. Five of these rooms have views over the loch and each is equipped with tea and coffee making facilities, alarm clock, hair dryer, TV and many other comforts.

We have an arrangement with the Loch Long Hotel, where guests can enjoy a four course meal normally costing £16.96 for the price of £7.95! We can cater for guests with dogs by prior arrangement. There is a downstairs room suitable for those with limited mobility.
