Oakvilla Bed and Breakfast is a detached Victorian era property situated on the west side of the River Ness, just a ten minute walk from Inverness city centre. Inverness is the capital of the Scottish Highlands and there is much to see and do in the surrounding area. Find out more of the rich history of the area at Culloden Battlefield, Urquhart Castle and Cawdor Castle or sample some of the local produce along the whisky trail. Lovers of the great outdoors will find no shortage of forest walks, fishing spots and cycling trails nearby, not to mention a variety of golf courses to test your skills. A little closer to home there are lovely walks to be found along the River Ness and Caledonian Canal.
