The Munlochy Hotel is a former coaching inn dating back to the 18th Century which continues to offer a warm welcome to visitors, both old and new. Munlochy is a charming village in Ross and Cromarty well placed for touring the many local attractions including Chanonry Point, perhaps the best place for spotting the Moray Firth Dolphins from the shore. The local area is steeped in history and at Fortrose there is a an outstanding Pictish Centre with a unique display focused on fifteen carved stones, some dating back as far as the 8th Century when this area was an important centre for Christianity. The area's s rich and interesting past can be further explored at the Cromarty Courthouse, now a registered museum.

The hotel provides a range of interesting and tasty restaurant and bar meals. Our lunch and evening menus offer a comprehensive range of meat, poultry, fish and vegetarian dishes designed to suit all tastes. Our food enjoys a fine reputation with both the tourists and locals alike. The public bar is equipped with pool table, football table, darts board, juke box and TV showing football games and sporting events. Meals are available here during opening hours seven nights a week. Our dining room is available for the use of families.
