Ian and Linda welcome you to An Darach 4* Bed and Breakfast. We are situated on a quiet country lane on the outskirts of the beautiful village of Contin, close to the charming Victorian spa town of Strathpeffer near the Scottish Highlands and Islands. Our quaint home is surrounded by woodland near to the A835, the main route from Inverness to Ullapool and the North West making it the perfect base for touring the breathtaking splendour of the Northern Highlands and Islands.

Our house is all on one level, has a beautiful south-facing rear aspect overlooking a large garden which our guests are more than welcome to enjoy. Why not take refreshments on our patio overlooking our pond? Or in the colder months, curl up by the open fire in our cosy lounge. Contin has a church, two hotel restaurants that serve excellent food, a convenience store, garage and petrol station. An Darach, Contin B&B prides itself on it's extensive breakfast menu. Your breakfast can be as light or hearty as you prefer and we can cater for special diets. An Darach B&B is the perfect place to unwind and relax. Our B&B is open all year round, excluding Christmas and we provide 4* standard accommodation in beautiful surroundings.

Rooms Description

Accommodation comprises of two comfortable, spacious bedrooms, 1 king-size and 1 twin/super-kingsize, both en-suite, a guest lounge and dining room. Our bedrooms are both tastefully decorated and comfortable, overlooking the garden and woods beyond. They have easy chairs for you to relax and enjoy a read in, a flat screen TV/DVD player, tea and coffee making facilities, radio/alarm clock, hairdryer and electric blankets. The ensuite shower rooms are equipped with shaver points, large fluffy towels and excellent quality toiletries. Our spacious and sunny lounge has comfortable sofas and chairs facing a welcoming open fire. We have satellite TV, DVD player, VCR and Hi-Fi system.

Specialities

A selection of books, videos, games and maps are provided for your convenience. Wireless broadband Internet access is also available. There is a large garden with ample off-road parking and secure storage for cycles, motorcycles and sports equipment. We can also provide packed lunches if pre-arranged.
