Two wonderful self catering croft cottages situated at the foot of a private road on the shores of Carrigrich Bay, 4 miles east of Tarbert on the Isle of Harris

Tigh Na Mara comprises of two croft cottages beautifully located on the shore of a secluded bay on the Isle of Harris, Scotland. Carrigrich Bay is situated approximately four miles east of Tarbert and the ferry terminal and just under an hours drive from Stornoway Airport. The property has been in the same family since the late 18th Century and enjoy fabulous views of Scotasay from the windows to the front. Passing sea life such as seals, porpoises and otters can often be seen in the bay and this is a tranquil location in which to enjoy your holiday on the Isle of Harris.

Tigh Na Mara has undergone extensive refurbishment with the Main House sleeping up to five people and the End House sleeping two adults. The Main House comprises of three bedrooms; one double room; one twin room and one single room. In addition to this there is a bathroom; lounge with TV, DVD player, books, games and a telescope; kitchen/diner with dishwasher, washing machine, tumble drier, microwave, toaster, fridge freezer, electric hob and oven and kettle.

Rooms Description

The End House is well equipped and provides comfortable self catering accommodation for a small family or 2/3 adults. The property comprises of a double bedroom; lounge/diner with bed settee, TV, DVD player, books and games; modern kitchen with electric hob and oven, toaster, kettle, washing machine and fridge and WC/shower room.

Specialities

The tariff include fuel and provision of bed linen and towels. All rooms have electric heating. Additional heating is provided in public rooms by a coal fire in the Main House lounge and multi fuel burning stoves in the Main House kitchen and End House lounge.
