Just 2.5 miles from Greenbank is the tiny, loch-side conservation village of Stein with its excellent Loch Bay Restaurant (specialising in locally-caught fish and shellfish dishes, open Easter to October) and the Stein Inn.The tranquillity which comes from Waternish being off the beaten track means that the shops are in Dunvegan, 15 minutes away by car. Close by is Dunvegan Castle which has a large gift shop and restaurant adjoining the car park outside the Castle gates. Portree, the principal village on the island, 30 minutes from Greenbank, is well worth a visit.

Greenbank Bungalow offers excellent self catering and disabled friendly accommodation. This comfortable, architect designed cottage sleeps 4 in 2 ensuite bedrooms. Greenbank is suitable for unaccompanied wheelchair users and has an accessibility grading of "Category 1".The shower has a sturdy lift-up seat (max. weight: 20 stones) fixed to the wall. The bungalow has a self-propelled wheel-in shower chair (max. weight: 20 stones). The chair has adjustable and detachable arm-rests and foot-plates. The padded seat is horseshoe-shaped. Fitted kitchen, well-equipped with full-size electric cooker, automatic washing machine, microwave oven and fridge-freezer. Comfortably furnished with a three-piece suite (two arm-chairs and a sofa). Satellite TV, DVD/VCR & CD Player. Bedroom 1 has a "Zip-and-Link" bed: This quality king-size (5ft.) bed can separate into two single beds, each of 2ft.6ins. Parking for 2 cars close to the bungalow. We regret that pets are not accepted.

En suite has WC, wash-basin and a step-free shower with lift-up seat (max. weight: 130 kilos). A self-propelled wheel-in shower-chair(max. weight: 130 kilos) and a monkey-pole are also available. Bedroom 2 has twin beds. En suite has WC, wash-basin and shower over bath.
