A traditional old school house, lovingly converted into three luxury apartments, accommodating up to 12 people, perfectly positioned in the beautiful Cairngorms National Park. Choose from one or two bedroomed accommodation, set in private gardens and enjoying original features. The Old Staff Room is a single storey one bedroom apartment with a bed settee in the living area, sleeping 4. Our two bedroom apartments have feature spiral staircases to the upper floors and two bedrooms, also sleeping 4. Standing in it's own 3 acres of gardens and surrounded by a Scots Pine forest and open farmland it is a haven of peace and relaxation. You can often spot roe deer, red squirrels and birds of prey. All three apartments are equipped to an extremely high standard with everything you'll need to enjoy your holiday. Towels and bedlinen are provided, as is electricity and heating.

Located one mile from the village of Carrbridge, seven miles from both Aviemore and Grantown on Spey, our central position makes us the perfect base from which to explore the Cairngorms. The local area offers canoeing, windsurfing, skiing, golf, quad biking, horse riding and bird watching. We're perfect for keen walkers and cyclists with miles of countryside to explore! If you have a more relaxing break in mind, there are castles, gardens and potteries nearby in addition to several distilleries for which this region is renowned. The Moray Firth Coast is only half an hour away where you can explore sandy beaches and colourful harbours. Keep your eyes peeled for dolphins and porpoises!

Rooms Description

These three luxury apartments have all been individually designed to provide the highest standard of property to all guests. Mrs Mackintosh's Classroom has its own private entrance and hallway leading to a large open plan lounge/kitchen/ dining area, from which you can access a shower room. Mrs Clark's Classroom has two upstairs bedrooms, sleeping up to 4 adults, and bathroom, and The former Staffroom has been converted into a single storey-one bedroomed apartment - with bed settee in living room.

Close by to the property is Landmark - where you can rock climb, skydive, flume ride, meet wild red squirrels, walk through the tops of tall pine trees and watch logs being sawn on a steam powered sawmill.
