Edinburgh Shopping Princes Street

The hub for Edinburgh shopping is certainly Princes Street. Big name department stores sit alongside chic boutiques and specialist shops here. Find more on George Street and in Edinburgh there are two big shopping malls in the centre - St James Shopping Centre (website right) and Princes Mall.

Cockburn Street just to the south of Waverley Station has a superb collection of more bohemian clothes shops alongside record shops. For all things antiques, books, specialist food and arts and crafts push down to the Victoria Street area and Grassmarket. Tourist type shops and souvenir shops are located mainly on Edinburgh's Royal Mile.
